| Description: | CUs MSs British traffic cop on duty at intersection. He stops traffic for children to cross street. Across the street a demonstration is going on outside a school, with people carrying banners protesting about this dangerous intersection near a school and inadequate crossing facilities. There really is a lot of traffic on this street including a lot of trucks! One thing the demonstrators seem to be pressing for is an alternate route for them (called the Dover Radial) to take trucks around this residential area. The placards read: "Build The Dover Radial Route Now". LSs of the street, with 4 lanes of 2 way traffic. Cars and trucks driving past demonstrators. VS Police serving as crossing guards. MLS pan with group of young schoolchildren walking on sidewalk toward corner. One police officer is on curb and sends the schoolchildren on across. Another officer stands on traffic island and stops traffic as they cross to the school. More shots of this going on. | |
