King Neptune and Father Christmas standing shoulder to shoulder as they are lifted on the Canadian Pacific Line's Empress of Britain to participate in its Christmas celebrations. It's a little unclear who is who in this performance: it seems that Nepture and Father Christmas (like Santa Claus) are one and the same. The beareded man carrying a trident. The other is just a jester. King Neptune is received by the Captain, Court Jester is standing next to him. Captain welcomes him and they exchange a few words (natural sound). Father Christmas, surrounded by children coming towards Neptune and Court Jester. Children sitting while waiters bring past the food on trolleys - Roast Beef, Plum Pudding, etc. More food is paraded on trays by line of chefs. Follow the waiters carrying wine and Champagne . Court Jester steals two bottles of wine. | |
