| Description: | A MINUTE WITH THE MIDGETS - FILMED AT BLACKPOOL (title is obviously seems a little politically incorrect now but probably not at the time.) GV five women (little people), wearing what looks like white bras and panties, running and gathering around a dressing mirror propped up and supplied w/various cosmetics, the women quickly comb their hair, powder their faces, lace dance slippers and grab their costumes from a female assistant. MCU woman sitting at the table looking in a compact mirror as she applies lipstick, she then smoothes her eyebrows & sprays perfume. LS performers onstage - in the same costumes which must be something else but still looks like underwear and nothing more! One of the women does a Charleston-like dance while the others stand in a row behind her, there is also a man of average height in a flashy uniform standing on stage looking rather board. LS as another woman dances a solo ballet routine on point. LS as a third woman borrows a handkerchief from the man on stage (who has up till now performed no other function except as a reference point for height), the woman places it on the floor, then does a backbend, lowers herself all the way down and picks up the hanky in her mouth, then rises back up. Wider LS as the five midget/dwarf women dance together while accompanied by a female pianist of average size. | |
