Shot of a one armed ex-serviceman playing a golf shot. A crowd of fellow veterans applaud after the shot. Another player tees off. Two golfers play on the putting green. One of them holes his putt while the other watches. Parade of ex-servicemen, singing as they march. Most of them are wearing golfing clothes and carrying golf clubs as they would have carried rifles. A make-shift artillery piece has been fashioned and is being pulled along. What appears to be a keg is carried on a stretcher. Some have added tin hats to their attire. At the end of this piece of the marching vets, an overlay of a shot of Australian troops marching to war in WW1. | |
