| Description: | A PEEP AT "PATRICIA" - THE MUSICAL COMEDY AT HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE LONDON Extracts from "Patricia" starring Dorothy Dickson and Max Rivers - a "treat-'em-rough dance. Costumes for this show were designed by Gordon Conway. Opens w/ wide shot looking down to stage where "Patricia", played by Dorothy Dickson, dances w/ "M. Ducros" (Max Rivers), w/ other cast members around the edge of the set watching. Part of the time they dance w/o touching, performing movements in unison; when dancing together they do lots of sudden dips and lots of twirling around. Ends w/ Rivers spinning Dickson round and round, holding her by an arm and a leg. Somehow she suddenly goes from this to being back on her feet, and the dance ends w/ applause from the others onstage. Except for her jealous husband standing downstage, but he is almost out of the frame. | |
