| Description: | A PIPE STORY A large pipe is moved in Cape Town. Pipeline in Capetown, South Africa. Laying 1800 ft. long pipe in one piece. Shots of pipe slowly sliding into water, on top of a narrow rail track; some men working, others hanging out to watch. Wider shots of the slow progress. Rope being wound around a big wheel on the beach by black African workers; next to this wheel the long pipe rolls on. MS diver in water, w/ waves washing over him - can see only his head wearing round diver's helmet, and shoulders. Shot from inside dark tunnel (or some unidentified structure) while pipe is moving through it. Same from outside: guy riding on pipe as it slowly moves out of tunnel. Shot looking toward sea as the end of the pi pe finally heads into water; guy standing on it. Shots from boat of long pipe floating in water, guys in small boats near it. Shot from above of pipe in ditch on beach area. | |
