King Feisal of Iraq with members of his retinue stand on board ship in Dover Harbor. They are all wearing uniforms with lots of feathers on their hats. Prince Albert, Duke of York (Later King George VI) walks up gangplank onto King Feisal’s ship. King Feisal comes down gangplank. Various other dignitaries come down while a Royal Marine band plays on the dockside. Feisal and Prince Albert inspect Royal Navy guard of Honor. London. King Feisal steps off a train to be greeted by King George V, The Duke of York also steps off onto the platform. Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) and Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester step forward to meet the King. The two Kings walk across to meet James Ramsay MacDonald an other state officials. King George V is introduced to members of the Iraqi party. [ While Feisal visited Europe, an Assyrian uprising in Iraq was brutally put down, though Iraq had promised upon admission to the League of Nations in 1932 that minority groups would receive fair treatment.
