| Description: | A TRIFLE FROM FOLLOW THROUGH Scenes from the new Musical Comedy "Follow Through" at the Dominion Theatre in London featuring Elsie Randolph, Leslie Henson, Mark Lester and Ada May. A man and a woman dance - a jaunty "Lambeth Walk" style dance. They strut around the stage arm in arm and the woman kicks the man on the backside. Couple doing comic dance on stage; he wears double-breasted suit, she wears a cute pants outfit. MLS actors Mark Lester and Leslie Henson enact a golf lesson. Henson hangs various bags containing golf necessities over Lester's shoulder, neck, etc. then puts blinders on him (!) and hands him a golf club. Lester has trouble swinging because of the bags which are also swinging from his neck. Henson steps in to help and they get into a struggle over the club. Then Henson tries to demonstrate but falls down and the golf club bends in two. Next big dance number with Elsie Randolph and boys' and girls' chorus lines. Next, Lester and Henson, disguised as plumbers, go on a job at a Ladies' Locker Room. MLS several women in robes, lingerie, swimsuits, etc. sitting around chatting. Wider shot the men enter the locker room. CU's of each in his disguise. Schtick. Guys disappear into a changing booth, then there seems to be an explosion inside it. They come running out, then climb up on the lockers. | |
