	Description:	What better introduction to the Pilot Productions library than a short film about Pilot Productions? Although intended as a promotional film it also serves as a good behind the scenes look at the filmmaking process. The following is a brief description of just a few shots... opening montage (mostly low angle LS's) of steel workers building a several story structure (very rapid edits)... tight LS of a camera crew in a lighting studio, prepping before a shot; cut to an angled dolly in of a man in a business suit sitting at a desk while talking on the phone; the latter stops and talks to the camera, the director yells "Cut!"... a scene montage of a busy production plant, an operating room (MS), a bulldozer working in a forest (LS), camera crew follows 2 hunters and their dog into a billowing grain field (the former on screen left,the latter on right)... CU of man loading a camera magazine (exposing the film!!!)... high angle LS of a dynamite explosion in a high-walled dirt pit,the wall crumbles... montage of a film crew shooting a helicopter taking off from an open, snow covered field on a sunny day... 2 men raising a 2K light (MS) in a lighting studio... MS's of production meetings in an office, editor in an old fashioned editing room w/ clients, production crew setting up in studio... MS of man in business suit turning on a projector... montage of script production (Cu's and ECU's of typing, copying, distribution)... MS of male editor working on a Moviscop and gang synchronizers... MS of 2 men working in a sound recording room... client clip montage (construction, medical, industrial, etcetera)... montage of film crew on an outdoor set; shooting a car crash (shown in a wide LS, includes a real impact)... MS of a buxom blonde in a blue 2 piece bikini sitting poolside, posing for the camera... MS of LBJ (yes, that LBJ) standing at a podium bearing the "President of the United States" insignia... tight LS of 5 men around a film camera in a dark studio while a superimposed list of Pilot's clients passes over. There is some narration but the images mostly tell the story. There is a lot of information here, almost too much to describe within these defined parameters.
