| Description: | A WOODLAND THEATRE Outdoor theatre in the Colorado forest, where children & teenagers put on a show for the folks. Folk dancing at an open air theatre in woodland in Colorado. MS women filing past rustic log ticket booth with sign "Box Office"; man is working in it. MLS pan on spectators in winter coats seated on benches made of logs with more boards for back rest. LS looking over audience to the performers - several couples in European ethnic costumes doing some folk dance in a clearing among trees. Another group, these seem to be in some sort of mouse costumes, dancing, tumbling, playing leap frog. Next, kids in dark tights and leotards with capes and hoods over them do a dance that seems to consist mostly of running back and forth. Other actors in various costumes stand around the edge of the "stage". The others disappear and there remains one kid in a cape who does a little solo dance. Of course there had to be a section of girls dressed up in flowing white things dancing about like woodland nymphs. First this bunch does some graceful things with long sheer scarves; then they toss big balloons up and down. | |
