| Description: | NO AUDIO The Greek ferry, "Heraklion", is sunk in the Aegean Sea during a furious storm. 235 are dead or missing, 49 survive. The ship was on a routine overnight crossing from Crete to Athens Port, Piraeus. Cars and trucks battered open the bow of the ship; 15 minutes later it went down. Establishing shot - Rescue planes circle the area looking for survivors that were on the Greek ferry "Heraklion". Aerial shot -Cargo ships looking for survivors in the Aegean Sea. CU - A sea rescue worker sitting at a open door of a helicopter in flight, looking down at the sea. Aerial shot - He spots some survivors and throws downs a smoking marker. Aerial shot - Cargo ship. MS - Sailors on board the cargo ship. CU - A survivor being carried on a stretcher. CU - Another survivor being assisted by two ship officers to the ships infirmary. CU - A victim on a stretcher being carried off to the ships morgue. CU - Sailors leading a survivor down some ships steps. MS - At port a survivor is placed into an ambulance and is taken away to the hospital. | |
