| Description: | Scenes from a documentary on an African safari. White hunters, black assistants/guides. Various shots of hunters/guides pulling a dead Hippopotamus from a river or swamp. They attach a line to it, somehow load it into the back of a jeep that is partially in the water. Then the jeep is towed up onto land. Some CUs of the dead hippo, its mouth and teeth. MS living hippo mostly underwater, eyes peering over surface at camera (sad!). Fades to black and back up to three hunters (one woman in center) behind neatly arranged rows of antelope skulls with horns. They are happy and pat each other on the back, shake hands. Credits for hunting film. | |
