| Description: | Two undefeated teams clash at Tuscaloosa and something has to give. Finally, it's Florida's Gators who bow to Alabama when the boys in Crimson get the ball in the final minutes and a field goal makes it Alabama 17 - Florida 14. Tuscaloosa, Alabama University of Alabama football stadium with throngs in attendance. Marching band is on the field. Gator quarterback passes the ball to his wide receiver and he is taken down instantly. This is a 61 yard drive for the Gators and it is climaxed by Johnny Fiber going over and scoring a touchdown. The sport spectators cheering and whistling. MOHS - Alabama has the ball and it is hands off, he breaks loose and makes 30-yards scoring a touchdown tying up the game 14 - 14. Alabama gets the ball again, quarterback hands off the ball and a 6-yard gain is made. Alabama kicks the football for a field goal and Alabama ends up winning 17 to 14. | |
