Reims Cathedral being rebuilt after First World War. Reims, France Opening title refers to Reims as the "Ville Martyre" due to the pounding it took in WWI. VS conventioneers, drunk on good champagne in the afternoon, acting silly. ;A few men stand outside bldg; 1 holds up USA flag; another sticks his cane next to it like a flag pole. MSs others of the visitors riding in large wicker baskets which move along 2 parallel tracks; everyone laughing; a guy with cloth on his head (?)staggers around with a bottle, pretending to be even drunker than he really is...
