| Description: | AN UNFINISHED SYMPHONY IN STONE Sculptor C S Jagger at working on a statue shortly before he died. Various shots of sculptor Mr C S Jagger at work on a small clay model of a statue of King George V to be erected in Delhi. Brief shot of the Artillery Memorial (at Hyde Park Corner?), one of Mr Jagger's famous works. Several more shots of Jagger working on the sculpture of King George V; he makes a larger model from his small original, then one twice as big, with a wooden framework beneath the clay. Using a pantograph he transfers the details from the small model onto the large one. Commentator tells us on the eve of completion Mr Jagger was taken ill and died. | |
