| Description: | View of reporter (Bob Frankin) standing on a busy urban street holding a microphone. As he talks, city traffic passes behind him. There are cars, buses, trucks and pedestrians. Reporter talks about the city's mass transit system. Reporter states that Mayor Perk is calling for a study to look over the mass transit system in the Cleveland area. Perk's plan upsets the current Transit Task Force because they are conducting studies of their own. There is fear that Perk's plan will duplicate and dilute the work of the task force. It could even delay improvements in public transportation. Reporter segues to his interview with Jerry Anderson, task force consultant.
Interview with Jerry Anderson, a member of the Transit Task Force. Anderson is an Afrian-American man who is wearing a brown dress shirt and a wide striped tie. He sits casually as he talks about the transit study in Cleveland. Anderson doesn't understand the necessity of the mayor's study; Cleveland is already included in a larger regional study. View of reporter as he asks Anderson if he is afraid that the mayor's study will hinder the work of the task force. Back to Anderson as he states that the study can confuse the people in Washington. He goes on to say "And when you have confusion in Washington, you usually have inaction, and inaction means delays, and delays cost money". View of reporter out on the street as he makes his final commentary. He signs off by saying "This is Bob Frankin, City Camera News on Public Square". | |
