| Description: | Contests; animals. At an agricultural fair in a rural district; various animals are judged. Opens w/ girls showing horses. Dog obediance and agility demonstration. German shepherd jumps over poles w/ trainer keeps moving farther apart. The dog also climbs over a tall vertical barrier; jumps over flames; etc. Then a man in a heavy coat & gloves comes out and pretends to attack the dog's master; the dog attacks the man. More protection exercises: the "villain" advances w/ stick trying to hit the dog who jumps at him. Then the dog attacks the man as he shoots a pistol. Shots of the Duke of Gloucester (son of GeorgeV) and others watching the show and chatting. Farmers show prize bulls; leading them around the ring.
