Oxfordshire C/U looking down onto a carrying basket strapped to the back of an animal as it walks along; M/S in a street in Wallingford near Oxfordshire as we see Mary Holmes walking along with a lamb on a lead who is carrying the basket. Commentator tells us this one-year-old lamb is called Daisy May, as Mary stops to look in a shop window. M/S of two young girls with Mary in a garden, petting a large pig called Charlie; C/U as they feed it some sponge fingers. M/S as Mary takes a bowl of egg covered meat over to a box in the garden for Bill the badger. He puts his front paws onto the box as Mary dangles pieces of meat for him; commentator tells us Mary and her husband John are animal trainers. C/U of Pilot the Husky dog being petted by some children; M/Ss as John leads Pilot off along a track in a field; the dog is harnessed to a sledge with three children on it (phew! Must be quite a weight to pull!). The children's mother watches with a baby in her arms. M/S as Mary puts a bowl of food down in the garden; lots of dogs mill about, then we see a little fox-cub, 9-week-old Vicki the vixen, as she runs to get to her bowl of raw chopped meat before the dogs do. C/U and M/S of Vicki eating; she then runs about with her empty bowl in her mouth - very cute. C/Us of an Alsatian dog watching. C/U of a grey squirrel peeking out of John's trouser pocket; it runs up his body and sits on his shoulder; C/U of Mary laughing (with a prominent gap in her teeth); M/S as Mary walks over to John; she also has a squirrel on her shoulder and it walks up John's arm to sit on his other shoulder. C/Us of the squirrels, Lyril (Cyril?) and Simon, eating peanuts and drinking milk from an eggcup. C/U of John, tilt up to show a squirrel sitting on his head. C/U of Vicki still running about with bowl. M/S of Mary and John walking along a country lane taking numerous dogs, two goats and Daisy May the lamb for a walk. | |
