| Description: | Ten persons narrowly escape death when their yacht "Petrel" is pounded by heavy seas and high winds in the Atlantic. Five are transferred to a British freighter while five others stay aboard and are towed by the Coast Guard to their homeport, Stamford, Connecticut.
