| Description: | In Japan an attempt on the life Premier Kishi the very day he steps down from office. Kishi is shown by the balloting by the liberal Democratic Party for his successor as party leader and Prime Minister. After 3-years in office he resigned because of the violent student rallies protesting the controversial Japanese / American mutual security pact whose ratification was the climax of his career. Kishi successor, the former Minister of trade Hioto Akita is expected to continue pro-western policies. Later while attending a party for his successor Kishi was attacked by a right wing fanatic. Here he is shown being carried by friends to a car suffering from six stab wounds in his thigh. Teriyaki Aramatie was seized on the scene a member of a small fanatic group he has no connection to anti government students. Kishi (?) speaks at podium. Audience of MS Japanese men applaud. Japanese men walk along stage casting ballots. Hioto Akita approaches podium and bows. Premier Kishi moments after the attack on his life by a knife-wielding terrorist, and the seizure of the would-be killer, the very day Kishi stepped down from office.
