Lester Piggott on 'Arctic Explorer' followed by Burns on 'Ballymoss'. The horses go out onto the course. The horses parading down the course. 'Arctic Explorer' walking along. Horses turning round to canter up to start. Mass of bookmakers. Bookmaker and tic-tac man at work. Bookmaker shouting odds. Money being put into bag. Man looking through binoculars. The start, horses are off as the tapes go up. Back view, 'Barred Rock' goes into the lead. Leading horses with 'Arctic Explorer' slightly behind leading horse. Crowd looking through binoculars. Horses into the straight with horse No 2 battling out with No 20 who is on the rails. 'Ballymoss' starts his challenge and comes up alongside Tenterhooks. Man looking through binoculars. As they come up towards the finish 'Ballymoss' is out in front. 'Brioche' is coming through on the rail on the outside. Court Harwell is making his challenge but 'Ballymoss' reaches the post to win.
