| Description: | Master 60 Part 1 Same as catalog # 299498 BED RACES Bed racing along streets of Romsey during carnival festivities. Romsey, Hampshire Opens with tucking woman into bed outside. Several loony pals stand behind. The beds have wheels and one man is seen testing one. Approx. one dozen other women, also in very comical beds with several comically dressed men apiece, are shot in a pack awaiting the start of the race. A young woman, the local pageant winner, signals the start of the race. The beds are pushed, pulled and carried by the goofy men while the women remain on top. One bed jumps out in the lead racing down a sidestreet. The others in close pursuit. They all have to cross a slight ravine, but are showered with white powder by bystanders as they do. Another ravine and they are sprayed with water. One team evidently wins and one of the men receives a trophy and is kissed by the pageant winner. Wacky, Contest, Race, Sleep, Insomnia. | |
