MS Man with knife about to cut off hand of statue He cuts off hand. He examines it for detail. MS Man calls out of picture. Another man comes into picture. The lift halo off statue together. MS Looking up at statue. Dr. Fleischman is trimming wire which runs through hand. CU Dr. F. MS Dr. F. trimming hand. We have 3ft mix. MS Man making plaster. LS Dr. F. and assistant another bowl of plaster. MS Part of statue not yet covered with plaster. Assistant starts to apply plaster. CU Assistant applying plaster. MS Applying plaster. MS Dr. F. chipping plaster from hand. MS Dr. F. CU Hand as it is chipped. MS Assistant just finishing platering statue. MS Dr. F. who has just finished shaping hand. He picks up hand. We pan up with him at same time. Stop panning. He then examines hand and places it down again. We start panning up to r. as Dr. climbs up to statue. Stop panning. Dr. now starts to take of plaster casing of statue. MS Levering off plaster casing. It comes off. MS Dr. F. hands piece of plaster mould to assistant who places it out of picture. They then start to remove main piece. MS We see inside the mould the shape of face and shoulders. MS Dr. F. and assistant looking at statue. MS looking down at furnace. Stick lifts up lid of furnace. MS Man with long pole lays it on ground and picks up tongs. MS Looking into open furnace. Tongs pick up bar of bronze and drops it into bowl. MS Man with tongs. He finishes with them and places them aside. He then takes long pole again. LS We see two men. Man with poles hand it to other man and them fetches other men who are out of picture. with their carrying device lifting hot crucible out of furnace. MS Two men who are holding device. LS As they lift crucible out of furnace. They then walk backwards out of picture. LS As they pour mixture in crucible into mould the moulten metal starts to flow. CU Metal falling there is 2ft fade out to 2ft fade in ending MS Of Dr. F. and assistant who is working on finalised top portion of model. CU of assistant's hand as he cleans up face of statue Dr. F. in b.g. Big CU assistant's head. CU Fret saw on bench. Assistants hand comes into picture and takes fret saw out of picture. MS Assistant sawing off pieces of wire from model's nose. He starts to pull piece of wire away. CU Wire being pulled away. The Assistant's hand rubs portions of dust off model's face. LS Assistant attending to model. We pan ot r. to show another assistant putting finishing touches to bronze lower half of model. Nearer angle assistant attending to model we pan to r. to show another assistant putting finishing touches to bronze lower half of model. We pan down model feet. MS Dr. F. and assistant with top half of model. Assistant is taking nails out of model with pair of pinchers. CU Nail being removed from shoulder. Pinchers move over to front of model. MS Another nail being removed from model. The assistant starts to brush model clean. CU Model being brushed. MS Model being brushed. Dr. F. looks up and nods reassuringly at assistant. | |
