Various L/Ss of ship at sea. M/S of officers on bridge. Various shots of presentation ceremony. Mr. H. K. Hales, MP, makes a speech. We then see Campbell and Thoreux shake hands. In the middle of the room is a massive, very ornate trophy - the Blue Riband. Other dignitaries are also present including Dr. Lauria of Italy and Herr Lindemann of Germany. According to narrator, Campbell states in his presentation speech "if Britain is to lose the trophy they would rather France held it than anyone else". | |
