The riviera hill village etc in background boats in foreground. MS Similar scene a boat swaying on the swell. C.S. Fishing boat pulling into the quay. Hotel Welcome in background. As boat nears it mooring chef runs from hotel to meet it and chef and fisherman shake hands. CU Chef and fisherman shaking hands. Car and people in background on quayside fisherman goes to get his catch in a basket and gives it to the chef. CU The basket of fish in the chefs hands it contains a lobster a red mullet one rainbow colored fish many others of all sizes. Chef picks up live lobster and shakes it. He puts lobster back and turns towards hotel. C.S. Hotel Welcome forecourt on quay sunshade up Stand ready for preparing the bouillabaisse. Chef enters pic with basket he gives it to assistant who takes it out of screen chef turns and begins preparing the bouillabaisse starting with chopped onions and array of herbs. CU Chefs face as he chops. CU Of his dish of herbs tomatoes onions chervi cinnamon sticks and a generally tasty array. CU A dish of the big fish is now placed on this stand and they are multi-colored. Now the fish are to be added. A hand picks up one of the fish and takes it out of picture and puts it in pot. C.S. The chef against the background of the hotel and sunshade putting another fish in. He adds another fish and stirs the brew. CU Chef looking round savoring the odor and stirring. CU Two customers woman and bald headed man against riviera hill background wine bottle in ice at the ready. CU The soup with the fish in it and alongside a dish of cooked fish lobster mussels and a whole mixture. Chefs hands lift another fish out of the stewer. Puts it onto the plate of cooked fish alongside his hand picks up ladle to pour the fish soup over the fish. BCU The dish of cooked fish with the ladle pouring some of the soup back on them hand comes in with a knife to carve a portion from one of the cooked fish and put it on a plate. Knife and fork carving section of another fish. MS The chef pouring soup onto the fish on a dish and a waiter is ready to serve. Harbor and the hill in background. A gendarme comes into sight and passes chef waiter goes behind chef and serves dish to lady. CU The chef getting ready to serve another portion of soup. C.S.
