Criterion, London Opens with CU fat baby. CU another baby. Then shot of about 6 babies lying on a carpeted floor; with mothers kneeling beside them. The mothers stand up; picking the babies up - but some of them are carrying rods from which the babies hang in harnesses. They walk into a room where there's more of this going on. Babies are hooked in these contraptions which are now hanging from the ceiling. CU baby. Mothers walk to side. The babies are commanded to bounce. So these babies hanging in harnesses start bouncing. CU baby bouncing; pan down to her legs in lace tights. Another baby looking fairly happy bouncing. Then CU baby not bouncing but chewing on a stuffed bunny. CU baby with fat solemn face bouncing up and down. Man kneeling by baby who is bouncing in a sort of dance. CU baby's face; looks serious about bouncing. CU baby's feet jumping up and down in rhythm; pan up to face smiling; mother stands behind holding the bar. Mousy mum poses with fat winner baby. | |
