| Description: | Children; youth organizations. A Boy Scout rally in Liverpool. Opens with shot of the Boy Scouts of various ages and levels marching along a football field; some carry flags; some play drums. Some spectators; parents; etc. sit in bleachers; bare trees in BG. Closer shot of same. Silly contest part of the rally: Scouts with tall cones on their heads try to fit hooks on the top of the cones through rings hanging from a line above -- which is sorta funny. Next; another weird contest involving rings; but this time the boys have to fit themselves through larger hanging rings -- shot of the contraption; which is like a large saw-horse with four life-saver type rings hanging from it; a boy comes running at this thing and goes through it head first; landing on his hands; falling; and getting up and running again. 3 different boys do this; The 2nd boy is the best -- he fairly dives through the thing. A crowd of people in BG watching this silly "sports event". | |
