| Description: | This raw footage of the Nighthawks is primarily shots from behind the bands and medium and long shots from the front and sides. There are a good amount of audience shots in this footage. (05:34:16) Nighthawks on stage, in the middle of a Muddy Waters' tune the chorus to which is "She's only 19 years old, she got a way like a baby child", a flaming guitar and harmonica jam is underway, guitarist sings the song and stretches out the final lyrics with his bull-frog voice (05:37:09 - 05:43:33) Nighthawks play a more rock inspired tune - the story of an exploited mine worker - the chorus "I owe my soul to the company store", harmonica player sings this song, the guitarist takes a behind the back solo with his guitar literally behind his head and shoulders - he then continues the solo playing with his teeth, audience claps along to a drum break and solo (05:43:35) Festival host NAT TURNER works the crowd, Nighthawks return for an encore and invite out SON SEALS and harmonica player PHIL WIGGINS, musicians figure out their score while Turner tells the crowd to drive home safely (05:46:37 - 05:54:43) Musicians begin their final song, both guitarists and harmonica players solo off one another, Turner sings "Don't Forget the Blues" and tells the audience to look for themselves later on tv on channel 26 (05:54:45) Audience gives enthusiastic response and wait around vainly in the hope of another encore | |
