King presents Sister Dorothy Louise Thomas with a gold medal. They talks for a while. Queen stands behind. Applause as King attaches the medal to Sister's uniform. Queen shakes hands with the nurse and talks to her. King and Queen enter the car. Car slowly droves through cordon of nurses and doctors who cheer loudly. Sister Dorothy L. Thomas has shown great bravery when the oxygen caught fire in the hospital's main operating theatre.
