The 16 - 19 year olds, who are mostly sons of men on active service, jump off and collect their helmets and uniform. They emerge from the hut for practise with guns, mortar and hand grenades. M/S as they take part in bayonet practise. M/S of one boy who is camouflaged. Various shots as they do special bending and stretching exercises to keep up their physical fitness.
