| Description: | CAMEOS shows the craft of making "cameos" - fashion accessories for the hair and waist. MS woman sits at table. She holds up a series of fancy belts, many w/ a flora theme. CU she grasps a leaf or petal shaped mold w/ a thick post sticking up from it, holding it on some sort of white material & using her other hand to bash the handle w/ a mallet. Then she picks up mold, uses tweezers to extract white leaf. MCU she glues leaves to tiny stems. MS the jewelery maker at work in her home. BG of brocaded chairs, potted palm, Oriental vase, floral print wallpaper. MCU she uses paintbrush to paint the leaves. Next she is rolling a small ball on the end of a stick over white petal to curl it. She ties white petals together: series of shots jumping a bit forward in time as she assembles a lovely flower. "Eve's little extras - bless her! MLS Eve stands wearing long beaded gown as another woman helps her with one of her creations, a belt w/ 2 huge flowers. MCU her waist w/ belt, giant flower worn over each hipbone. Dissolve out/in on another belt, then another. CU Eve's head wearing headband made of dyed "leaves" w/ bunches of grapes hanging down over her ears. | |
