He looks deep in thought. LS of him sitting at the piano playing a tune. "Mr Weatherly has found many an inspiration in his beloved garden." LS of Mr Fred E. Weatherly and his wife sitting at a table in the garden of their home having tea. CU of a rose. Dissolve into the front page of some sheet music for "Roses of Picardy". Dissolve into a shot of Mr Weatherly tending to his roses with a small boy standing beside him - probably a grandchild. Mr Weatherly hands him some roses and the boy smells them. "And in the quiet hours, little Michael and his Grandpa have intimate chats about all sorts of things... from Cabbages to Kings!" CU of the composer sitting in a wicker chair reading to the youngster. Shot over their shoulders showing the book. They finish reading, Mr Weatherly closes the book and they walk off.
