| Description: | CAMERA INTERVIEWS - THE KEEPER AT THE ZOO A zoo keeper shows the camera his charges - giraffes, a Kinkajou and a bear. London MCU zookeeper in uniform, c. age 50s , looking upwards while talking, holding bread in his hands; a giraffe bends its head down, sticks out long tongue and licks bread, eats a bite. LS keeper feeding the giraffe while a baby giraffe stands behind her and another adult giraffe watches from next pen. The giraffe is rather a sloppy eater and drops food out of her mouth as she chews. Back to MCU view of keeper feeding giraffe. MCU keeper holds a tiny creature - -a Kinkajou (from Central & South America, looks sort of like a tiny monkey w/ bear face) in the crook of his arm while he feeds it a banana. CU same: Kinkajou grabbing for the banana with its clawed paws. Keeper plays a sort of game with a bear to feed it a snack. (European Brown Bear?) MCU pan up looking through bars of cage as bear stands up; keeper, outside cage standing at left of camera, tosses a hunk of unidentified food- -maybe a rolled up hunk of bread- - into bear's open mouth. MS keeper stands outside cage making hand signals to bear; bear opens mouth again. But then the instead of throwing the food, the keeper rolls it in his hands, bear rubs his paws together in mimicry, then bear leans forward w/ paws on bars, opens his mouth again, and keeper tosses food in. | |
