| Description: | Military; Labor; Canadian soldiers act as lumberjacks. This seems to be a sort of contest; with spectators in BG in some shots. Opens with shot of soldiers driving teams of work horses dragging logs. One Soldier chopping log with axe. Soldiers chopping wood. Then 2 men sawing log; with double saw; while a 3rd man holds log in place. They finish and the one guy holds up a small section of log; then drops it. Shot of same guy holding up the long 2-man saw; with jagged teeth. (another man's arm is also in the frame; helping to hold saw up.) | |
