Story about William Knott, who makes caravans and is a modern 1950's self made man, having the largest caravan manufacturing business in the world. Parkstone, Dorset. MS in grounds of factory coming up a gradient. Caravans being drawn by land rovers. first one goes out of picture second one goes out of picture. MS Showing long line of caravans A landrover drawing immediately enters picture and drives past them. Various workers are carrying on with their jobs. camera pans R. to show Mr. Ronni Smith working on caravan. Also Mr. William Knot working Mr. Smith picks up gate from back of caravan and hands it to Mr. K. CU as Mr. S. hands gate to Mr. K. who takes it and at begins to fix it in position. CU from another angle. He finishes and stands up and walks back to interior of caravan. CU of Mr. Knot as he unties the curtaining (draped) he finishes and walks back to edge of verandah. MS showing Mr. Knot standing of edge of verandah. At side of caravan. Mr. Smith a can be seen using screw driver. CU Mr. Smith screwing. CU of screw driver as it is being used. MS showing Mr. K. and Mr. S. & caravan coming past them are workmen on bicycles on their way home Mr. Knot opens gate and walks down steps. he stops to take off apron while the workers continue to cycle past. MS showing 5 of Mr. K. cars. Mr. K walks into picture from right carrying apron. he stops to look at rolls. he carries on to next car which is a big sports car. CU As Mr. K. walks to door of car and throws apron inside He bring out a deer stalker type hat which he puts on. MS Mr. K. door of car and climbs in. he closes door and car moves forward past camera. MS as car drives up road MS on golf course showing man in a bunker practicing how to get out. Mr. Knots' car come into view and camera pans R. and it comes to halt. Mr. K. friend turns round and waves to Mr. K. who climbs out of car and takes off jacket. MS as Mr. K. throws jacket and deer stalker into car and drags of trolley on which are golf clubs and walks away. CU Taken from above showing trolley being pushed along. MS as Mr. K. and friend arrive at hole Mr. K. stops trolley and begins to select club. MS from another as Mr. K. having selected club. walks over to spot and puts ball on ground and bg. friend look on Mr. K. stands upright again begins to address ball. CU of Mr. K as he lifts arm up to hit ball. CU of ball on ground the ball is hit. CU Mr. Knot's friend as he watches ball go away he walks out of picture. Ms. as Mr K. replaces club and friend walks towards camera Mr. Knot follows him. They walk past camera. CU of top of Mr. Knot's radio antenna It is revolving a slightly. Ms. Mr. Knit's radio equipment he comes into picture and he sits down and reaches out for some kind of a switch. CU of Mr. Knots hand as he adjusts various switches on panel in front of him CU of speaker At side can be seen the letter G3BM. CU of switches turns antenna Mr. Knot’s hand is in picture he takes hold of switch and moves it in forward direction. CU of dial which indicates direction in which the antenna is pointing it begins to move around. CU of Mr. Knot as he takes hold of Microphone. CU from another angle as he begins to speak. CU of speaker. MS showing Mr. Knot sitting at equipment. He can just be seen speaking. CU of antenna which moves around. MS showing Mr. Knot's speed boat he comes into picture and climbs into boat and sits down. CU of Mr. K. as he completes sitting down he reaches over and switches on ignition and he presses ignition button to start he raises thumb to driver. Ms. as car with trolley on which boat is standing reverses down into bay Mr. K. reverses boat out into bay. he stops goes into forward gear and the boat moves away. Ms. as boat comes past camera. MS showing boat in bay as it makes very sharp turn to L. and then goes toward R again camera going with it. CU of a spectator on beach. he raises pair of binoculars to eyes. CU of Mr. Knot driving boat he begins to make a right turn. MS as boat makes right turn and goes out into bay. Ms. taken from rear of boat looking towards front as we speed along. MS looking along side of boat towards front as we see and old type of yacht. CU of Mr. K. hand on steering wheel. Ms. looking behind boat showing the wake and the Swiss flag flying. MS Looking towards front of boat Mr. Knot can be seen as he makes a very sharp right turn he makes a sharp left turn.
