| Description: | CARTOON COMPETITION 6 The artist Poy draws a cartoon - the audience is invited to guess what it depicts. £100 cash prize is on offer for this cartoon competition - and other consolation prizes. This is the sixth of ten cartoons by "Poy" the famous cartoonist. The cartoon represents the title of a well-known film. The competition entrants have to guess the answers to all ten to be in for a chance. C/U of Poy looking through a magazine: "The Pathe Messenger." He puts it down and looks at the camera and sighs. Through stop frame animation we see his drawing take shape. It represents an old woman darning a little boy's trousers while he stands and waits in his underpants. The pictures on the wall are of Maggie, Harold and Alfred. "Did you "get" it?" Six of the original Poy cartoons (framed) are to be awarded as consolation prizes.
