| Description: | ALSO ON MASTER # 968. The poor quality of this print suggests that this familiar premise never gets boring: Young aspiring actress answers newspaper ad, visits the "casting director's" office and learns how she is expected to move up in the world. She is asked to try on a bathing suit and she complies by going into the dressing room. When she is partially undressed and can't find the suit, the director comes to her assistance and makes unwelcome advances towards her. When she refuses him he storms out and says "See how far you get being that way!" (there is no sound, only intertitles). Alone in the dressing room, she picks up a copy of "How to be a Movie Star" and reads how she must do whatever the director tells her if she is to be successful, so she calls him back in and submits to his wishes. It is worth noting, however, that she tells him to use a "fish-skin" (condom) and without hesitation or complaint, he does so. She waits, writhing on the couch, while he is seen putting this sock-like skin over his penis. There are a number of intertitles throughout this film and even a "moral" at the end of the story. | |
