The Smith children, two boys and one girl, make their way up path towards the cave with a parcel, pan with them as they go inside. Mrs Smith takes a kettle from the paraffin stove and walks over to pour water into a bowl. Mrs Smith looks at the front of the nearby new house which she will be moving into soon. She talks to Lily Hughes in the doorway of Lily's new council house. Lily used to live in the cave beneath the Smiths. M/S of the cave beneath the Smith's cave.
