MS he sits on side of a boat putting on water skis - - these are hollow, floating skis, larger than the regular kind; they have canvas 'bags' on the top which he steps into, fastening them below the knee; an old man on boat hands him some special ski poles with circles on the bottom. MS/ LSThe man heads away from the boat on his floating skis, helping to propel himself with the ski sticks. Apparently he fails at his attempt though we don't actually see this. | |
