| Description: | A mysterious series of explosions and fire wrecks a chemical plant in Hawthorne, New Jersey. Eleven workers are killed. An explosive dust, a by-product of corn starch, is believed the cause of the blast. Four bodies were recovered and the search continues. Establishing shot - Fire races through a chemical plant ravaging everything in its path. MS - Firemen manning the fire hose trying to extinguish and maintain the fire. MS - A smoldering mess of a collapsed building. Eleven bodies were recovered. MS - A twisted metal storage unit of some kind. LS - Two firemen standing at the smoldering mess of debris that isn’t to high considering it was a building, the intensity of the fire was so hot that it incinerated the building, and there's very little left. MS - The firemen are now applying a chemical that is a white foamy substance. MS - Firemen hosing down the remains of the building. CU - A crowd of people watch this horrible site of the burning inferno. MS - A large crowd of people standing behind a police line.MS - Heavy machinery is brought in to remove the aftermath of the fire looking for bodies. | |
