One big fellow gets away when the harpoon gun misses, but a bumper crop is brought back for valuable oil. POV from boat, sailors look out at whale's tail breaking surface of water. Low angle, person up in crow's nest looks through binoculars. Close shot of harpoon firing. Harpoon comes very close to whale but misses. Captain shoots at another whale, who thrashes about. Ship with a bunch of dead whales floating in the water around it. On shore, people use what looks like measuring tape to see how long a whale is (much longer than a bus, I'd say). | |
