SV Ex-prisoner putting his shirt on. SV Another ex-prisoner putting on his boots. SV Another ex-prisoner putting on his jacket. SV The Rev.Bertram Peake working at typewriter and he pauses to think. CU Rev Peake he continues typing. SV Ex-prisoners lining up for their morning cup of tea. The first in the queue opens the Deacon's vestry door to reveal the kitchen. CU SV The ex-prisoner cook pouring the tea. SV One ex-prisoner taking his tea and another coming up to the hatch for his. LV Pan shot: an ex-prisoner leaving Wormwood Scrubs jail. SV Pan shot: he is greeted by an ex-con (ex-convict, excon) who has come from the church they shake hands. GV Pan shot: the two ex-prisoners walking across road to the church. LV One of them knocks on the door. SV Interior shot: the Rev Peake opens the door and shakes hands with the new ex-prisoner and welcomes him in. LV The Rev Peake also shaking hands with the other ex-prisoner. SV Interior shot: the ex-prisoner comes in and the door is closed behind him. LV The two ex-prisoners walking into church followed by Rev Peake. SV (Nat. sound starts). The Rev speaks, "Well gentlemen this is it and what are your names?" Prisoners answer, "Duncan Sir." "And your name?" "Sunshine Jones, sir." Rev continues, "Sunshine Jones, that's a nice name. Well this is the place you can stay here there's a bed here and a meal and you can stay here as long as you like and it won't cost you anything. But what is your objective?" Answer "Well in the meantime I'm looking for a job and looking for somewhere to stay." Tracking shot: two of the ex-prisoners with their fiancees leaving the church and walking down road. LV Pan shot: A Kensington Borough Councillor arriving at the church with some clothes for the ex-prisoners which he gives to Rev Peake. LV Interior shot: the Rev Peake holding bible class around the bedside of one of the ex-prisoners while the other men sit around and listen. CU The Rev. reading and camera pans down to the open bible. LV The bible class in session. CU The ex-prisoner sitting up in bed listening. LV The Rev. sitting down to dinner with the ex-prisoners and they say Grace. SV One of the ex-prisoners say his Grace. LV Grace ends and the men start on their dinner. SV Three of the ex-prisoners eating. SCU The Rev Peake puts his knife and fork down and speaks (Nat. sound starts here) "Well some of you chaps have been here quite some time. You have jobs and you're getting on your feet. This alone justifies our work here. I'm sure that you newcomers can do the same. After that it's up to you.
