| Description: | CINEMA ORGANIST Cinema organ is put through its paces - rising from the pit then returning. Regal Cinema, Marble Arch, London. M/S of a strange location - a circle of flowers, a fountain and a curtain. Suddenly a cinema organ rises through the flowers - a trifle surreal! Man playing the organ presses a button then returns from whence he came. L/S of the cinema auditorium. Again the cinema organ rises. Not possible to read the clapperboard on this vhs copy but looks like it might be a scene for a feature film. Words on clapperboard may be Jubilee - Brenon - rest is obscured by timecode on tape. Shot of the cinema organ rising from low angle. He goes down again. (rise again you Mighty Wurlitzer) This cinema organ iwas located at the Regal Marble Arch Christie, London. It was the largest cinema organ in Europe with 4 manuals and 36 ranks of pipes. | |
