| Description: | CINETOPICALITIES IN BRIEF (NO. 75) Animals treated at a vet school. At Erkatz in Russia we see various shots of trainee vets being taught to treat animals at a special hospital. A pig lies on a table to be given ray treatment. A horse has a silver instrument run over his coat (not sure what this is for). Another horse is seen hanging in a sling, with sleepers over his eyes and his hooves attached by chains to the sling frame. The sling is suddenly tipped up so the horse is lying on his side - it looks very bizarre! This allows a vet to operate on any part of the animal. | |
