Several shots of a new system of office storage invented by a London businessman called Tom Foulkes who got the idea by playing with matchboxes. M/S of Mr Foulkes looking at his plan for movable storage cabinets. Rows of cabinets are set closely together on rails so that they can be pushed apart easily to retrieve their contents. They look very similar to storage and vault shelves in use today. | |
