Horses split up and one line runs in opposite direction inside the other circle. Wide shot audience. Next, the white horses stand w/ their front legs up on boxes while a group of black horses run around them. MLS part of audience, mostly women and children, watching with rapt attention. 6 black horses perform in the ring, all standing up on hind legs at once, then taking a few steps, then raring up again. Audience clapping. Troupe of Asian acrobats in the ring; several stunts going on at once incl. guys spinning around on bar. Audience. LS man in ring holds up a tall pole on his shoulder; on top of the pole 2 other people perform tricks. Next c. 5 of the acrobats spin around while twirling long ribbons, making cool patterns. Wide shot spectators. For the next act, acrobats swing from bars and ropes high up in the tent. They perform various daring stunts. | |
