| Description: | Same as catalog # 319924 CLAIRVOYANT FISHING Fortune teller spends time fishing in between receiving clients without leaving her office - clever! Palace Pier, Brighton, East Sussex. Long frontal shot of a Palace Pier in Brighton (an entrance). Camera pans to line of people fishing. C/U shot of a statue of Indian deity (not sure which). C/U shot of a crystal ball. Camera tilts up to reveal the face of a woman with a scarf around her head. Cut to C/U shot of another woman's head as she nods her head approvingly. C/U high angle shot of a hand and a magnifying glass - palm reading! M/S of the two women sitting at the opposite sides of a small round table. Older is a clairvoyant (Madam Binnie or Binney) and younger is a client. Younger woman leaves and clairvoyant gets up and disappears behind a curtain. She sits at small desk and empties plastic bag full of letters - her mail. Then she opens a square hole in a floor (one can see water underneath) and gets ready to do a little fishing. Several shots of Madam Binnie fiddling with fishing rope preparing fishing tackle, lowering the rope in the water and attaching the top part to the wall. She attaches a little bell to the rope so it rings every time she has a catch. M/S of clairvoyant opening her mail. C/U shot of a bell - it is ringing. C/U top shot of the hole, lovely blue sea underneath. M/S of the clairvoyant pulling up the fishing rope. High angle L/S of the Palace Pier - great shot! | |
