| Description: | A BURNING QUESTION - During present coal shortage, daily supplies are issued for small houses at the L.C.C. dumps. London Nice M/S of small children crowded together at L.C.C dump (London City Council), they are smiling and laughing, some seem to be fascinated by the camera. A man, (presumably a city council worker) fills a hod with coal using a shovel and empties the hod into a sack. Standing next to him is another small child, he is wearing an overcoat and a flat cap which looks slightly to big. He is holding a small pick axe and half heartedly he hits the pile of coal he is standing on. Another nice M/S of the children, as we see boys and girls carrying the large sacks of coal away flung over their shoulders. They smile and appear to be having a good time. | |
