| Description: | The popular BBC [British Broadcasting Company / Corporation] & Variety Comedians COLLINSON AND DEAN - WITH MAI BACON. 'At the Bar'." M/S's of Collinson and Dean chatting at the bar with Mai Bacon as the barmaid. The older man on the right (not sure which is which) offers the younger man a cigarette which he accepts he then offers one to the barmaid and she declare "I don't smoke or drink" to which the older man replies "Good, I'm stopping, you must do something !". The barmaid says "Funny aren't you and pushes his arm off the bar so that he slumps forward." Several insults are exchanged between Collinson, Dean and the barmaid. The younger man asks her if she has any children. The barmaid replies sternly "that's my business", the man then quips "How's business !" and the two men burst into hysterical laughter. The sketch finally ends when the older man manages to fleece a sixpence out of the barmaid as well as pork pie. | |
