A comic short film in which the progress of a couples relationship is shown only by shots from the knees downward (with a couple exceptions). Starts w/ feet of a woman who is sitting on chair in the park. Mans legs walk by, he sits down beside her. Woman is all modesty, pulls down her skirt to cover more of her legs. She drops her purse between them, they both reach to pick it up - and touch hands. In a few more seconds, she has turned her knees toward him, then he scoots his chair closer, etc. they both are moving their feet nervously. Then they get up and walk off together. We see their feet walking down the street, stopping, walking on. Next, low shot of table and chairs, also outdoors. Couple come walking up and sit down. Shot above table:she pours tea; we still don't see their faces. Back to shot below table, their knees nearly touching; they hold hands under the table. Title: "Ten days later - -" Waist high shot of the man holding gloves in one hand, a bouquet in other hand behind his back. Woman comes up, he gives her flowers. They walk down the street arm in arm. Title: "Ten years later - - " Shot of pram being pushed around corner; man's legs follow (he is pushing it), then woman's, then the legs of a little girl and little boy. Title: "And the moral?
